Welcome To 1st AIIMS Pediatric Neurosurgery Operative Workshop (Pediatric NEWS)

Dear friends

We are delighted to inform you that AIIMS Neurosurgery Department is hosting its 1st Pediatric Neurosurgery Operative Workshop (Pediatric NEWS), 19th to 20th January, 2017. This workshop intends to provide a forum for discussing advances in management of complex pediatric neurosurgical procedures, giving a great opportunity for all to share the knowledge and experiences. The workshop also aims to develop interest and train more number of neurosurgeons in pediatric neurosurgery.


Theme for this year is “ Advances in Craniosynostosis surgeries ”.


Surgical techniques with live surgeries on Craniosynostosis cases (19th to 20th January, 2017) and hands on on relatively using 3D STL model based learning models to practice and learn surgical procedures on deformed skulls , (Plagiocephaly, Lefort III osteatomies) will be demonstrated.

Target audience : : Neurosurgeons, Plastic- Reconstructive Surgeons and Maxillo-facial surgeons, Pediatric Surgeons, Pediatricians.
